3 Months Old!

I have a three-month-old. How did that happen? Ok, I know how it happened, but I'm just having a hard time believing I have a three-month-old baby. Lola spent her three month birthday being sick. She has a cold, and it is so sad! Jay and I think her little cough is so cute, but so sad at the same time. Here are a couple of pictures of our big little girl...
P.S. Today was "catch up on the blog" day, so there are more new posts below. :)
She's such a smiley little girl, even when she doesn't very feel good.

Still smilin'.

Thumb Sucker

Lately, Jay and I have been finding Lola sucking her thumb when we've been going in to check on her during her naps. It is so cute! People keep telling me I won't think it's so cute when she has buck teeth and I have to spend thousands on braces, but I think Lola would be cute with buck teeth! Really, I just think Lola would be cute no matter what.
See? It's cute.

Still cute.

And, once again, it continues to be cute.

Trip to the Museum

Let me just start by saying that I am not the most cultured person in the world. (I know, hard to believe.) Consequently, Jay and I have decided to try and incorporate more activities that would help us to become so. On Saturday, we went to the LDS Museum of Church History and Art in Salt Lake. It's full of, you guessed it, Church artifacts and religious art. It was amazing to see so much history of the Church and learn more about the early Church members. It was actually a really fun day! It also didn't hurt that we grabbed some Chipotle on the way home...
We couldn't find anyone around to take a picture of all of us, so we took turns. Jay with little Lo. What a stud.

Little Bug and me. Lola's like her mommy; She pretty much slept through the entire museum.

Chloe Turns 1!

Ok, so the title is a little misleading. Chloe doesn't actually turn 1 for a few more days, but she did already have her 1st birthday party, which is the subject of this post. Last Sunday, the fam got together to celebrate Chlo's first year of life. We ate, opened presents, had cake... Actually, we mostly watched Chloe do all of those things. She is quite the entertainer!
When Landon was little, he had a toy lawn mower and would say he was "Mowin na nawn." Naturally, Chloe had to get a new toy lawn mower so she could "Mow na nawn" like her daddy used to!

She couldn't believe she was allowed to do whatever she wanted with this cake!

Happy Birthday, Chlo! We love you!

Lola's Blessing

Lola was blessed this past Sunday. We were fortunate enough to have all of our family come out for the occasion. Jay did a wonderful job; it was a beautiful blessing. Lola looked so pretty in her dress Grandma Laura made with her afghan Grandma June made. Thank you, everyone, for making the day so special!
Our little family.

Ma and Pa with Lo. What a great looking group of people.

Us at the lunch my mom put together for us. She is wonderful!

Clearly, Lola had a great day!

Happy Birthday to Jay!

Wednesday was Jay's 26th birthday! I keep making fun of him for being an old man. (After all, he could now technically be classified as in his late 20s.) I, being the sly little devil that I am, threw him a mini-surprise party Saturday night. We kept it low key on Wednesday and just went to dinner then watched some "Big Bang Theory" (which he got for his birthday) when we got home. He says he had a good birthday, so I'll have to take his word for it. Here are some pictures of the fun that was had...

Jay and his sisters. (As if I even had to tell you that.)

Chloe and Rach having fun at the party! Chloe was incredibly parched and practically dove head first into Alli's water cup, as evidenced here.

Our happy little family on Jay's actual birthday.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY, JAY! Hope you had a good one! I love you!
